Like all JL Audio subwoofer drivers, the WX's are centered on a long excursion, DMA-optimized motor system, supported by our patented Elevated Frame Cooling and a highly linear suspension. This means they deliver lots of low-distortion, high-quality bass with all types of music. WX's are ideally suited for lower power applications and offer a powerful combination of performance, value and installation attributes. W0v2 Series Subwoofers

With beefy 2.0 or 2.5-inch voice coils and our patented Elevated Frame Cooling, they're certainly capable of handling power. They also offer best-in-class excursion capability, with motors refined using our exclusive DMA modeling system for increased output and better sound quality. In simple terms, when the going gets loud, the W0v2's are built to perform like no other woofers in their price class.

W1v2 Series Subwoofers

W1v2’s are poised to establish a new standard for affordable bass excellence thanks to technologies originally developed for our flagship W7 and W6v2 subwoofers. These include JL Audio’s patented VRC™, Elevated Frame-Cooling and Floating Cone Attach Method™ technologies, along with an innovative, insert-molded spider assembly with integral push-terminals and special strain-relief features.

W3v2 Series Subwoofers

Sizes: 6, 8, 10 , 12, 13
Clearly the best sounding W3's yet, these subwoofers feature DMA-optimized, long linear excursion capability to minimize distortion and increase output. W3v3's are available in single 2 ohm, 4 ohm and 8 ohm versions (6W3v3 available in 4 ohm and 8 ohm only) and are superb performers at medium power levels in compact sealed or ported enclosures.

13.5" Thin-Line Subwoofer
The patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the woofer to make it all happen. Central to the technology is the “concentric tube” structure that supports the oversized voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placing the motor of the woofer much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs, while maintaining excellent linear excursion capability. Equally important is the fact that the TW5 design is optimized for extremely small box volume applications. Whereas a typical “small-box” 12-inch driver operates in well over one cubic foot, the larger 13TW5 is optimum in only 0.80 cu.ft. (significantly less volume than any other JL Audio 13.5-inch woofer). To counteract the efficiency tradeoff of small box volumes, the 13TW5 is designed to handle very high power levels thanks to the use of very it's large voice coil (7-inch diameter).

W6v2 Series Subwoofers

At first glance, you’re likely to notice the striking cast alloy frame design. These frames are much more than cosmetic enhancements, having been specifically engineered to provide increased clearance for greater excursion and to incorporate our patented Elevated Frame-Cooling technology. This cooling scheme directs high-velocity air flow over the top surface of the top-plate and onto the upper portion of the voice coil windings (the two hottest parts on a woofer).

TYPE S Subwoofers

IBeam® is the next generation of high definition bass solutions. It efficiently energizes the listeners auditory cortex without pressurizing surrounding air by transmitting information via bone harmonics and other direct stimulus routes. IBeam® localizes bass and reduces "noise pollution" by increasing the portion of tactile sound as "felt" by only the listener.
